Me and my sister Sofie set ourselves a challenge this year for Dads birthday card, we had both seen this type of card going around pinterest for quite a while and fancied giving it a go. As dad always sees the cards that we create, we thought it would make a nice change to do something a little different for him.
Gosh! What a challenge! We both didn't realise but the ones we had seen online were with american chocolate bars, so we had to research and reword it all, to not just fit with dad but also to the chocolate bars that we could find locally as well.
We just typed it all out until we were both happy with it then went round the shops to try and find the list of chocolates we needed, there was just two that we couldn't find but luckily, we managed to just drop those sentences and it still all made sense. Phew =)
Dad loved it! We all went out to a new indian restaurant in Brighton marina called 'Blue Mango' (which was lovely! We all will be returning) Sofie and I had just wrapped it in brown wrapping paper so he couldn't see it, so when he opened it he was very surprised! (and couldn't wait to start eating it!)
