Besties - Img734...

So October is here! Hopefully this will be the month that we can get back out our coats and boots! Recently it has been really warm which of course is nice but honestly I miss the cooler evenings, autumn is my favourite season of the year!

Anyway with a new month starting means a new challenge is also starting over on The UK Besties blog, this months theme is Halloween.

I used the Besties Img734 which of course I coloured with my Copic pens and I was super brave and coloured black I used the C family along with 100 and i'm really happy with the result and it wasn't actually as hard as I thought it would be.

The back ground paper and the sentiment are both Doodlebug which I had left over from last year! The Black spiders web you can slightly see is from Stampin Up which again is left over from last year!

I cant wait to see what you create for the challenge!

Besties - September Same But Different Challenge Card...

Here is my card for the Besties September same but different challenge...

The image is img 820-1 hollyhock fairy, which again I colored her with my Copic pens.

The background price of paper is from a doodlebug 6x6 paper pad and the doily is just an odd one from my stash. The orange is a stampin up piece of paper and word 'hello' is a MFT Die-namics die cut and the word 'birthday' is from the lawn fawn 'year six' stamp set.

I hope you play along with the challenge and I look forward to see what you create.

Besties - img006 fluffy frannie...

Happy September! I can't believe we are 3/4 through 2016 already!! Where has the year gone?

Today I have another Besties card to share with you she is called Fluffy Frannie. As always I coloured her in with my Copic pens.

The theme for the challenge this month is Fall. Which made me instantly think of being all cozy with a cup of hot coffee so when I saw this image, I knew she was perfect!!

The 'For You' is a new die from lawn fawn which I have cut out in green then layered another white one on top as well.

The tag is just a random 'craft' coulored one I had in my collection which I used the Tim Holtz distress inks for around the edge of to give it a bit of texture.

I can't wait to see what all you guys make for this challenge!!

Besties - August Same But Different...

This is my card for this months Besties same but different challenge...

It was a gorgeous (as always) little girl called Valentine image 933 this month which I coloured in with a selection of my copic pens.

The dark wood grain piece of paper I used for the background is from an American crafts 6 X 6 paper of which I recently picked up in my local TK Maxx and the yellow is stampin up's crushed curry.

I love how the blue pops from the flowers on this card and I can't wait to see what lovely things you create to play along with the challenge!!

#thedailymarker30day - Day 30...

We made it!! Today is Day 30!!

I will certainly miss colouring something everyday but now some house work might be able to get done, or even I might stop spending quite so much as unfortunately I won't be seeing all the lovely things that you guys are all colouring.

Here is my last card...

I used the stamp set and coordinating dies called 'So Jelly' from lawn fawn which of course I coulored in with my copic pens.

I then matched them and distress inked the blue and the yellow backgrounds.
The little fish that you see are from Avery Elle, from a set called 'Swim Team'.

Then finally I finished it off by scattering a few Pretty Pink Posh sequins.

I wish I could of had the time to coulor and make the image into a card everyday the last 30 days but I honestly enjoyed playing along so much! And I definitely will be joining in next year!! Thank you Kathy Rac!

Did you manage to keep up?

#thedailymarker30day - Day 29...

Day 29 of the challenge...

For today's card is very simple but I like how it turned out, I used sending hedgehugs stamp set and matching dies from lawn fawn and the heart is a Stampin Up punch.

Again I coloured the hedgehogs in with my Copic pens. Which my collection is slowly growing, I am going to post soon a picture of my collection and how I store them.

This is my card for day 28 of the couloring challenge,

It is using the super cute wheelie like you stamp set by lawn fawn, which I recently treated myself to along with a few others.

I simply coulored the little hamster and the wheel in with my copic pens. The background is from a old 6x6 pad from my minds eye.

Are you still keeping up with the challenge?

#thedailymarker30day - Day 5...

For day 5 of the colour challenge I coloured this image from Tiddly inks called masked avenger!

On the card I used a peice of Doodlebug paper from the kraft in colour 6 x 6 paperpad. For the background the red is the colour real red, diecut with the Starburst set both from Stampin Up and the sentiment 'Fantastic' is from a set of dies from Kaisercraft called Awesome. I had the stars just laying around from a Silhouette project I am working on.

Are you guys still playing along with the challenge?

#thedailymarker30day - Day 3 + 4...

Over the last two days I have coloured another lovely Tiddly Ink image called Ellie says happy birthday.

This is how she looked at the end of day 3...

And then today day 4 I have finished the image and made her into a card :)

I have used two sheets of Doodlebug paper for the background from the 6 X 6 pad called kraft in colour. which is just a really great basic pad to have in your collection! The oval behind her is a die cut from MFT die-namics called Oval Open Scallop Doily. The banner in front of her legs is a new stamp the die set from Stampin Up which I recently treated myself to called Bunch of Banners and once again just a few odd sequins scattered on the card.

#thedailymarker30day - Day 2...

Today I coloured a My Favourite Things girl called Little Shutterbug with my Copic pens...

Again I had enough time to make it into a card which is super cute! For those of you who know me personally will know already that I am a obcessed with camera's and thing with camera on. So when both the stamp and background paper from Doodlebug have been in my collection for quite a while.  I used the lawn fawn die Scripty Smile to cut out the sentalment and the few silver sequins you see are just some I picked up in a multipack from the range.

#thedailymarker30day - Day 1...

Today is the first day of a challenge I have decided to play along which is the colouring challenge hosted by Kathy Rac. So I will be posting what I colour up on here everyday :)

Today I coloured a Tiddly Ink image called Everyday Princess with my Copic pens...

and I actually had enough time to make it into a card today (which I dont think I will all the 30 days) and I am very happy with the way it turned out. I used the Silhouette Cameo to cut out the word wish and then stamped the Make A above. I also used a Martha Stewart punch on the side on the image and the backing peice of paper is an old Doodlebug one I have had in my collection forever!

Tiddly Ink Challenge Card...

The challenge this time over at Tiddly inks is Summer Song!

The summer song that I was inspired by is... Dido - Thank you
and this is the card I made for it...

The digi stamp I used is actually in there Freebie section at the moment and is called Aww Thanks, I really enjoyed coloring her in with my copics :)

The background paper is from the American Crafts collection Color Crush and the doily is actually a Lifestyle crafts die I cut out of just printer paper which I think gives a really lovely affect.

Jobie's Birthday...

Last saturday was my uncle jobie's birthday, this is the card I made for him...

Its a very simple card I made but I think it turned out quite effective and it was a great way to use up scraps! Here I used some of the paper I have left over from Mays's Kreative Kit.

We all went out for dinner to celebrate, we tried 'Smokey's' in Brighton, it was amazing! If you have never been there I really suggest you try it, if you love american style food. Don't judge it on the outside give it a chance and wow your be amazed. The potion size is huge and it all tastes great! They even have sweet potato fries which are my favorite.

Have you ever been? what did you think?

Happy Father's Day!

Just a quick post to Happy Fathers Day to all the dads out there!

This is the card I made for dad...

Some of you may know he is a 'gamer' he loves to come home from a long day at work and be able to relax and play his PS4, So when I saw this silhouette cut file, I knew it would be perfect for him.

I really like the way it turned out in the end, it did take a lot of patience to make it work and to keep all the layers to line up perfectly.

Have you ever attempted to make a card like this?
